| Mekong river cruise 2 days / 1 night Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long- Cantho ( L) This morning we set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for it's floating market. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to Vinh Long. We will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish', before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Towards the end of the day we arrive in Can Tho where we stay at lovely Victoria Ca Tho hotel right by the Mekong river. Day 2: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City( B ) Rising early to the sounds of the Delta coming to life for another day, we breakfast and start our trip with a boat cruise on sparking streams along the endless waterway of Mighty Mekong River to Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating markets. There will be hundreds of boats loaded with fruits, vegetables and fish jostling for trade. Sellers advertisers their wares by crying out across the waters. We visit the lush orchards and are treated to a delicious tropical fruits. .. Afternoon drive to Ho Chi Minh city. Mekong river cruise 3 days / 2 nights Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Chau Doc (L ,D) Our tour starts with a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of My Tho for a visit to the local markets. After the markets we board our riverboats for a cruise along the endless waterways of the the Mighty Mekong. One of our stops will be to Xeo Quyet forest, which was an old Vietcong stronghold during the American war. From here we will continue onto Long Xuyen where we will board our vehicle for the drive to Chau Doc. Diner and Overnight at Victoria Chau Doc hotel 4*. Day 2: Chau Doc - Can Tho (B, L) Chau Doc town is situated close to the Cambodian border. While here we visit a bonsai before heading up to Sam Mountain for a bird's eye view over the paddy fields towards Cambodia. Once off the mountain we embark on a boat cruise along the river to visit a fish farm. From Chau Doc we drive to visit White Bird sanctuary in Thot not. Continue onto Can Tho where we stay the night at Victoria Can Tho hotel 4* Day 3: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City ( B,L) We enjoy breakfast and drive to Vinh Long where we board our private boat for a cruise to visit Cai Rang floating market and fruit gardens in Vinh Long. We are treated to a local style lunch before our journey back to Ho Chi Minh City .
