Through countryside biking trails, villages towns and farms. Especially tailor-made biking
excursions, the best way to experience the “true” Vietnamese countryside and culture. This
countryside tour offers you a fascinating insight into the "real lives" of everyday people who
are the backbone of Vietnam. Just a few kilometers from Nha Trang’s' beachfront is the
picturesque countryside dotted with palm trees, fruit orchards and irrigated rice paddies.
The first stop of the tour is Long Son Pagoda. Built in 19th century, the ornate pagoda
decorated with colorful mosaic dragons, sits in the shadow of a towering white Buddha
seated on a lotus blossom.
Cycling through miles of flat rice fields to a rural village, enjoy the opportunity to interact with
the local people as they go about their daily lives, with farming and cottage industries as
their primary source of income.
The village path leads us to the home of one family who weave mats from rushes which
grow abundantly in the surrounding area. Two people working together will weave just four
mats in a day, which will be taken to the local market and traded for food and other
essentials.
Charcoal stove making village : Considered as kitchen God to all Vietnamese, so there’s
one stove in every family although gas cookers have been used abundantly nowadays.
Tourists are told the legend of kitchen God by craftmen to experience the fire culture in
Vietnam.
Bakery: Crucial food of Vietnamese is rice but since French rule up to now bread is also a
big want as well, especially for breakfast, supper… How to make bread could be viewed at
the site by hand and you’re welcomed with the fresh bread.
Rice paper making: One of the most typical food from rice steamed and processed into
round piece dried in the sun on the bamboo brackets that are on sale in the inns or shops.
Conical hat making village: Conical hat making village: Manual skill work by women, it’s also
your gift for your friends when toward home.
Visit a local home - these are traditionally laid out in the same manner throughout the
village. Ancestor worship is an important part of daily life in Vietnam and a large area of
these small houses is usually reserved for the family altar.
Next, pass through a fruit orchard boasting a plentiful supply of tropical fruits.
On the way, stop at the local market - the hub of the village where women from every family
gather daily to barter for life’s' essentials.
Next, stroll across the Xom Bong Bridge to view the fishing village and flotilla of trawlers and
junks, followed by a visit to the Ponagar Cham Temple, among the best examples of Cham
architecture in central Vietnam. Located on a granite hillock overlooking the Cai river, the
Hindu-influenced towers were built between the 7th and 12th century. The towers namely Po
Nagar are dedicated to the Divine Lady, the Mother of the Country. Then stop at a local
embroidery workshop to observe the details of producing delicate handmade embroidery
paintings.

situated in Nha Trang.You will be taken from the south to the north of Nha Trang to visit the
following attractive places:
+ Oceanographic Institute, a remarkable aquarium with 23 ground floor tanks housing a
variety of colorful live specimen. View the local marine life and 60,000 dead sea life
specimen. The specimens are sure to surprise and interest you.
+ Ponagar Cham Tower - The Champa Kingdom flourished for over a thousand years. This
tower complex overlooking the Cai River is perhaps the best preserved of all Cham sites.
Dedicated to the goddess Uroja, the central tower features a black stone sculpture of the
deity. Local villagers still bring offerings of flowers and incense to her shrine. An outstanding
example of Cham architecture, panoramic views of the surrounding bay and countryside.
+ Hon Chong Promontory - This small, rocky peninsula juts out into the South China Sea
and offers fine views of the bay, the coast and the offshore islands.
+ Long Son Pagoda - Dragon-shaped balustrades flank the entrance to the pagoda. The

built in 1965. The Buddha commemorates those monks who protested the abuses of the

                           Monkey Island - Waterfall – Beach

8:00 am: The tour will depart from your hotel to Monkey Island . We will take a 15 minute
boat ride to the island where you can see over 1000 monkeys in their natural habitat. Try
spotting the King of the Monkey’s. Explore the island, either by hand feed the monkeys.
Animals shows are also performed on the island.
10:00 am: Leave Monkey Island to Ba Ho Waterfall (“three lakes”), where you can climb the
rocks and dive into the crystal clear waters. If you are daring, leap from the highest peak!!!
12:30 pm: Lunch at Wind Restaurant, enjoy a selection of traditional Vietnamese food.
2:00 pm: We visit Doc Let Beach , one of Vietnam ’s most stunning beaches, with it’s blue
waters and chaulk-white sands. Cheap seafood is available from the restaurant and there
are romantic bungalows for anyone who would like to extend their stay overnight.
4:00 pm: Back to Nha Trang. On our return journey, you can see the salt fields at Ninh Dien
and take photos of the striking countryside landscapes.
5:00 pm: Return to your hotel.

                           River Tour in Nha Trang - mud bath

begins with a visit to the PoNagar Temples. An outstanding example of Cham architecture,

really become involved in the way the locals live in some of the small countryside villages

villages to encounter the local way of life. See the local handicrafts painstakingly being
produced by local Vietnamese. Admire the intricate workmanship as they weave the rush
mats. How different it is for your bed equipments in different weather, view material and
weaving. Sedge mat are popular to all people in tropical weather. Tourists can try weaving.
Ancient house: 170 years ago , all Vietnamese houses built like this style. The layout is for 3
apartments by the 2 wings in which the middle one to worship ancestors with full –
decoration of the altar while either sides for bedrooms. The architecture is very typical of 36
pillars and roofed of zin and zen tiles with a court at front for bonsai and planters in an
exuberant orchard, succeeded 5 generations to live in the house.
Before returning to the hotel enjoy a sumptuous lunch at a riverside restaurant. An
unforgettable cultural experience.

first stop at Tri Nguyen Aquarium .We then head out to fishing village of Mieu Island where
we have time to enjoy local bamboo basket boat and then we anchor at Tam Island for
swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters . From here we continue to Con Se Tre
Island ( bamboo resort )where you have the choice of relaxing on the beach or for the
energetic. We will have specical lunch here before boarding our boat back to the habour .
